Google Sheets use a "canvas" element, which bypasses some of Firefox's normal font smoothing. However, you can improve the rendering significantly if you can enabled hardware acceleration. I am attaching a screen shot of mine showing it is better, but still not perfect. I suggest checking for updated drivers.
