Download the zip file from the link below, then unzip the contents of the folder so you can get started customizing your taskbar. Now, simply select one of the available icon packs, and click Apply to change your icons to the new set. By default, the icons will be applied to the taskbar and start menu, and Explorer will automatically be restarted to apply the changes. You can change these settings if you wish, or just click Apply to change your icons.

After a few seconds, your taskbar will disappear then come back with your new icons. To fix this, go back to 7Conifier, select the icon package you want, and click the pencil icon to edit the icons.

Select the Icons tab, and here you can change the icon settings for all the default programs included with the set. You can also add your own application settings, or automatically import all pinned applications so you can easily customize their icons.

Doing so will log you out of your account. Once you log back in, all of your icons will be larger or smaller depending on the options you chose. Method 3.

Type run into Start. Doing so searches your computer for the Run program. Click Run. This program, which resembles a speeding envelope, should be at the top of the Start window. Type regedit into Run, then click OK. Doing so will open the Registry Editor program. You may have to click Yes when prompted before you can continue. Open the WindowMetrics folder.

Double-clicking it opens it in a new window. Enter in the new width. The default width for regular icons is 52, and the minimum you can enter is 32—anything smaller, and the icons will not display properly.

You can enter values larger than 52, though icons too large will cause problems on the taskbar. Restart your computer. Re-pin your icons. Windows caches icon images when applications are pinned, so you will need to re-pin any pinned icons for the new size to take effect. So think twice when you unpin any program from the taskbar.
